The Eagle Pointe Golf Club golf course manager and superintendent, acting under the supervision of the City of Mont Belvieu, have the responsibility for all matters relating to play on the golf course, practice facilities, and related buildings and property. In addition to the golf course manager and the superintendent, golf shop personnel, and the course marshals are authorized to enforce all golf course rules and regulations.
- All golfers and accompanying non-golfers must register at the golf shop prior to the start of play. Failure to register for access to the golf course or driving range may result in immediate removal from the Eagle Pointe Golf Club property.
- Golfers must be properly attired at time of check-in to access the golf course. Appropriate men’s attire includes collared shirts with a collar or mock turtle neck with at least a 1½ inch collar. Golf length shorts or non-denim pants. Ladie’s golf attire includes sleeveless finished seam shirts, golf shorts, golf skirts, and non-denim pants. Inappropriate attire includes denim pants or shorts, exercise clothes, yoga clothes, tennis shorts or leisure wear. Appropriate footwear means spike-less golf shoes, golf shoes with soft spikes, or athletic shoes. If you have questions about proper dress code, please call before you come to the course.
- Proper attire is also required to access the golf shop, the driving range, and the Eagle’s Nest Grill. No shirt, no shoes, no service. Bathing suits are strictly prohibited. Men must wear shirts with sleeves. For the driving range, spike-less golf shoes, golf shoes with soft spikes, or athletic shoes are required.
- Golfers and authorized accompanied non-golfers access the golf course and the range at their own risk. Eagle Pointe Golf Club does not require golfers to leave the golf course for inclement weather or threat of lightning. Golfers that are unable to complete their round of golf due to inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, other than lack of natural light, may be eligible for a pro-rata raincheck. Golfers must request a raincheck in person at the golf shop on the same day of play.
- All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when the child is on the golf course or practicing at the practice facilities. The adult is responsible at all times for the behavior and safety of the child.
- Range balls are for use on the driving range ONLY. Do not use range balls on the course or save them for use on your next visit. If you use range balls on the course, you will be asked to leave the course, and may lose your privilege to play or practice at Eagle Pointe Golf Club.
- We reserve the right to prohibit any non-playing walker or rider from being on the golf course.
- Only alcohol purchased from the golf course concession is allowed on property. No outside alcohol or personal coolers will be allowed on golf course property.
- All players must have their own set of clubs and golf bag. Rental clubs are available at the golf shop.
- Every golfer is expected to have a reasonable knowledge of the game of golf prior to the purchase of a green fee round. All golfers should be familiar with the rules and etiquette of golf outlined in the USGA rules of golf. Players are expected to repair ball marks, use provided sand bottles to fill divots, and rake and repair bunkers.
- Eagle Pointe Golf Club is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items on the golf course property, nor any injuries incurred during play.
- Eagle Pointe Golf Club reserves the right to assign players to a group in an effort to fill foursomes to expedite play.
- Golfers must pair up on golf carts prior to teeing off; no single rider golfers will be allowed when a group has an even number of players. Drivers of golf carts must have a valid driver’s license.
- Golfers shall start on the hole assigned, generally hole #1. Golfers must seek approval to start on any other hole.
- Private golf carts or other modes of transportation are not permitted on the golf course or at the practice facility.
- Jogging, bicycling, recreational walking, walking or exercising pets, is not permitted on the golf course or practice range at any time.
- Golfers are expected to keep their pace and not lose position in relationship to the posted time of play, 4 hours and 15 minutes. Should a golfer fail to maintain this pace, they may be asked to forego the next hole or allow the group behind to play through.
- Golfers are personally responsible for any damage to the Eagle Pointe Golf Club property; monetary restitution will be mandatory to continue use as a member or guest.
- Golfers shall be responsible for errant golf shots that damage property or injure pedestrians along or near the course.
- Eagle Pointe Golf Club offers advanced tee times to both members and guests. Golfers with tee times take precedence over walk ups. Golfers that fail to show or cancel within 4 hours of their reserved tee time may be held financially responsible equal to the amount of the reservation.
- Trash must be put in designated receptacles or held for disposal later.
- Watch out for wildlife like snakes and alligators.
- No one may sit in the golf cart driver’s lap while cart is in motion. (This includes children).
- No standing while golf cart is in motion or hanging on to cart in motion.
- Keep hands and feet inside golf cart while the cart is in motion – serious injuries can occur.
- All laws and ordinances that apply to traffic on roadways, including distracted driving/hands free requirements, open container laws, and driving under the influence (DUI), also apply to the golf cart paths and will be strictly enforced. A driver shall not have a phone in their hand or use any part of their body to support their phone, while driving.
- Golf cart drivers must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
- Fishing is prohibited in all bodies of water on the golf course.
- Swimming, diving, and wading are prohibited in all bodies of water on the golf course.
- Boats and kayaks are prohibited in all bodies of water on the golf course.
Driving Range Rules:
- Only Eagle Pointe staff instructors are authorized to provide golf instruction on the golf course or range.
- Driving Range Bays 1 – 15 require a reservation through the Golf Shop.
- Hitting from grass is not allowed when the range is “on the mats.”
- Do not intentionally hit balls outside the grassed range area. All golf balls are tracked; violations are grounds for removal.
- Range balls are for use on the driving range only. Do not remove balls from the range area.
- No profanity, inappropriate behavior, or loud music.
- No running or horseplay
- Stay behind the designated safety line unless actively hitting. Only one person should be past the line at a time.
- Always check your surroundings before swinging. Players are responsible for the flight and impact of their golf ball. Do not aim at range carts of structures.
- Smoking is prohibited within 15 feet of enclosed hitting bays.
- Please vacate your bay promptly when your time is up.
- Return all range buckets to the designated location.
